Our school is officially described as a Community Co-educational
Day School and was built in 1952.
It is a pleasant, split level bungalow type building, sharing a site with the Junior School. Our purpose built Nursery was opened in 1984. The whole complex is surrounded by grassed areas, planted with shrubs and flowering trees. All nine infant classrooms are bright, spacious and well equipped with access to hard and grassed areas.
ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS: Admissions to Nursery are the responsibility of the Governing Body (using the same criteria as for the infant School, see below). Admissions to the Infant School are the responsibility of the Local Authority (Hillingdon). Parents who are considering sending their child to Newnham are welcome to make an appointment with the Headteacher who will be happy to take them on a tour of the school. An application for a place at the Infant School can be made online on www.hillingdon.gov.uk/schools
