School Uniform
School Uniform
At Newnham Infant and Nursery School, we expect all children to wear school uniform. Wearing a uniform helps to create a sense of belonging, encourages pride in our school community, and promotes a smart and positive attitude to learning.
Our school colours are maroon and white, and these are worn throughout the school, including the Nursery. As children enjoy a wide range of active learning experiences each day, our uniform has been chosen to be comfortable, practical and durable.
Early Years (Nursery and Reception)
In our Early Years classes, we want children to be as active, comfortable and independent as possible. Our uniform has been carefully chosen to support children as they learn through play, explore both indoors and outdoors, and develop their independence.

- A school jumper or cardigan
- Plain black Velcro trainers
During the summer months, children should wear:

- A white polo shirt
- A school jumper or cardigan (if needed)
- Plain black Velcro trainers
